Referral terms and conditions

Ah, the legal stuff!  Below you'll find all the relevant terms and conditions for the Betterbunch referral promotion, designed to ensure you have the best possible experience with us.

1. Promotion Overview

1.1  This promotion offers eligible Betterbunch customers a $500 referral credit when they refer a new business to Betterbunch and that business starts a paid 12-month Betterbunch subscription.

The referral credit is applied to the referring customer’s Betterbunch subscription renewal fees.

2. Eligibility

2.1  This promotion is open to Betterbunch customers with an active paid subscription.

2.2  Past customers, trial users, cancelled accounts, and customers without an active paid subscription are not eligible to receive referral credits.

3. Referred Business Requirements

3.1  The referred business must be new to Betterbunch. This means the business must not currently have a Betterbunch subscription, or have previously held a Betterbunch subscription.

4. Referral Requirements

4.1  To qualify for the promotion, the referred business must mention the referring customer to the Betterbunch team before the sign-up process begins.

4.2  The referred business must start a paid 12-month Betterbunch subscription within 90 days of the initial referral being made.

4.3  If more than one customer refers the same business, the referral credit will be awarded to the first eligible referrer recorded by Betterbunch. Betterbunch’s records will be used to determine the original referrer.

5. Successful Referrals

5.1  A referral is considered successful when the referred business starts a paid 12-month Betterbunch subscription.

5.2  The referred business must remain subscribed for at least 90 days. If the referred business cancels within the first 90 days, or otherwise does not remain onboard for at least 90 days, Betterbunch may remove, reverse, or retract the referral credit.

6. Referral Credit Details

6.1  For each successful referral, the referring customer will receive a referral credit of $500 in the same currency as their Betterbunch subscription. The referral credit includes any applicable GST or sales tax. 

6.2  Referral credits are applied automatically to the referring customer’s Betterbunch account.

6.3  Referral credits are not transferable, exchangeable, or negotiable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

7. Applying Referral Credits

7.1  Referral credits may only be applied to the referring customer’s Betterbunch subscription renewal fees.

7.2  Customers may earn multiple referral credits. If the total referral credit available is greater than the value of the customer’s next subscription renewal, the remaining credit will be applied to the following subscription renewal.

7.3  Referral credits may be combined with other Betterbunch discounts, promotions, or special pricing, unless Betterbunch states otherwise.

8. Cancellation

8.1  If the referring customer cancels their Betterbunch subscription, any unused referral credit will expire and will not be paid out, refunded, transferred, or carried over.

8.2  If the referring customer later re-subscribes to Betterbunch, any unused referral credit from their previous subscription will not be reinstated.

9. Fraud, Misuse, and Invalid Referrals

9.1  Betterbunch may withhold, remove, reverse, or decline a referral credit if Betterbunch reasonably believes that the referral is not genuine, the referred business is not a new Betterbunch customer, there has been fraud or misuse of the promotion, the referred business cancels within the first 90 days, or the referring customer is not in good standing.

10. Acceptance

10.1  Participation in the referral promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions and any other applicable Betterbunch terms and conditions.
